Relaxing Weekends.... more or less

Its my first long weekend since i entered OCS, all thanks to Labour Day, a holiday which i always taken it for granted. Sat, went Somerset to meetup wif Geoffery, my gd buddy in OCS. Had BK for lunch and after that went around looking for stuffz to buy. Ended up buying some Byford underwears for athletes. Went to Army market after that, nothing much and went home to meet my soccer kakis for some streetsoccer. Been really long since i played, and i must say i enjoyed every moment with it =) Despite the rain. Went for dinner at AMK central, when i started having stomach cramp, all the way back home. The pain was so great i couldn't even walk back home, in the end have to halt a cab, it cost me $2.50, when normally a 5 mins walk will do it.... =P
Anyway back at hm, i puked and got much better after awhile. Maybe i had indulge in too much food since i booked out.... argh

Today had lunch wif my family, been sometimes since we had one together... feel kinda gd to be together. Went to jack's place and i had a T-Bone steak which really rox! Wanted a Tiramisu but damn i was too full!

I will touch on a little about my last week field camp..... Its all filled with tears and laughter, though i admit the laughters are probably forced out.... hahaaaa

Day 1 - Went to tekong and started building our bashas. Wasted alot of time on it because they kept changing how to bashas must be built.... bitch. Any there were many other stuffz to do so not much manpower around. Anyway we had to anchor the edge to a stick, and i used my boots to step on it, its fast, but the end state?! I had a hole in my boots!! damn it!! How weak can the boots be!!? Withstand landmine?! Phew~!! Embarked on our exercise greenleaves or sleeves, wateva. After finding the daytime last checkpt, disaster struck. We tried bashing through to find our dining pt, cos all of us were damn enxious to rest. Ended up being lost in a thick forest, not able to find any exit.... Worst, our section mate, Shaun, sprained his ankle while crossing the drain, and we were much in despair. Even with our instructor and his GPS handheld helped, we couldn't find the way out, and had to comms back for help. After about 2-3hrs and the sky got really dark, our wing PCs came to our rescue, though we still had to bash through thick forest, with mud and dirty water, resulting in our boots and feet to be totally wet and mashy. Hell it was tiring... AND we still had night navi~! Found all checkpts and headed back to camp site, which was about 10km away from our last checkpt. We dragged our tired body, rifles and sbo and not forgetting our boots still filled with water. Can u imagine ur feet soaked in water for that long?! And every steps made that funny moshy mashy noise thats pretty annoying to me.... ARGHHH!! lol! Everyone was pretty dead back at camp

Day 5 - Embarked on exercise Wildboar, which more or less was doing fire movement, flanking and charging while travelling on a 2+ or 6+ km route. Can be a killer too if u had that signal set on ur while being contacted.... When we got back, one of our section mate, daniel discovered that his magazine was missing, so we had to head back all the way to find it. Gladly it was found, on our way back, we kanna tekan like siao.... Artillery drill from about 1km around from rest pt, run, prone, run, prone the whole distance. Got back, we were made to do leopard crawl around the rest pt...... really what i can say was that back then, all my energy, includin the next day ones, had been drained..... Worst we had no water left..... luckily other sections still had a little. Thats wat i call surviving as a platoon!

On saturday, we went for our M2O3 and matador firing! It was damn COOL!!! Its like playing halflife, where u use rocket launcher, here matador. Damn powerful!

Thats all folk! Next wk, at the worst, probably i wouldn't get to book out. If not, the most optimistic one is sat night.... till then......
