New yr, a new life?

Just found a nice countdown extension to my firefox browser(IE CMI lar)! And countdown to? ORD LOR~ its like 244 days right now while i'm typing this post.

Today is quite a day for me. Things that happened, going to happen or will happen:

a. My first ever to be a conducting officer, virgin. Conducted a IPPT training for my course in the morning. Was quite a pleasant experience.

b. Aero Medical called me regarding signing on as a pilot. After close to 1yr of waiting, finally they called to scedule an appointment to have my eyes check! Trying to get my flame back to be a pilot~ And actually this only adds on to my current confusing mind about signing on the army.

c. CO had a casual talk with me as we happened to bump into each other. Anyway, he told me they are discussing to transfer me over to a company as PC! kAwAii~ Its a chance for me to get away from training cadre, because once DG is up, it will be in a total chaos. Lots of political issues involve lor.

d. More or less fix my mind about further studying Physiotherapy. Alot of Uni actually offers this course, and going overseas will definitely broaden my vision more than in a local U.

Mockingbird

Hmm fell in love with Eminem mockingbird, its so kawaii!!~

Went for my Duty in Jurong Island last friday, its simply a getaway from the daily hectic work. Nothing much to do except some prowling around the island, talking to soldiers doing POI, one of which is already a father with a 3mth old daughter, who is only 21 this yr...... Hmmmmmm

Finished duty on sat, tot i could save some weekend time by not sleeping since i had alot on fri =P End state is a totally f*cked up feeling all day, even at Liquid Room to celebrate Brian's Bday~ First time sees him so wasted sia...... Bro, u r a damn lousy drinker u know?! 1 jug x long island neh...... lol! Saw KS there after so long...... miss everyone from BMT Alpha man

One last time, guess what? I am having a foot rot now!!!! Kaoz! Not even after that drastic Landmine Warfare Fieldcamp did i ganna foot rot..... now no more chiong sua liaoz then come and ganna..... damn pissed off! damn itchy also...... WHY??!!!

Commanders' Course ongoing

The CC started on monday, with 20 over soon to be specs and near to 10 cadets in it. Also there will be senior commanders joining also, rank as high as LTC. Being one of their instructor, it will be quite challenging for me to work with them, if they ever appear that is. This batch of trainees are mainly poly, and the differences bet them and JC batch are damn clear cut. Discipline, knowledge, fitness etc.... I wun comment who is more superior since i am a poly student, with a yr of JC backgrd =P

Stupid?!

Not sure what i did is tactful or not...... Sold off my psp sony 2gb memory stick pro duo for $180, bought for $259 w/o warranty. And bought a sandisk 2gb memory stick pro duo for $225 with 5yrs warranty. Performance wise sandisk outshine sony in all area. Faster, bigger~ Hmm stupid?!

Damn busy last week, went to kranji camp to conduct CD FAM. Good experience and tons of learning values for me if not for the trainees =) One of the reasons i chose to be an instructor was because of the numerous chances to present, to be able to speakup infront of a crowd and conquer the stage fright. All this is a valuable skills for the future, be it in the army, working or just socializing.

Friday was my first encounter with teaching NS-men. LTA Dennis was the one teaching, for me, i was sitting one side trying to study his ways of teaching NS-men. Its a totally different feeling interacting with NSF & NS-men. Most of the time, they do not bother to listen, and we can't do much either. But some of them still act like they were damn young, childish =P Can imagine myself at their age, hmm actually quite close liaoz, probably 2-5 yrs diff neh.

Pretty hectic day for me today, had to shift our office for the whole morning, study lesson plan, attend opening ceremony for the CDI course people, meetup with Samuel and Chiam Lek, together with Junasis Jeremy and Wuuu, to celebrate their Bday at Junction 8 Swensons. Once again my buddy, YAP BOON LEONG, flew us kite again. Nothing new anyway =|

What time did it start to rain yesterday? 2+ 3am? Rained the whole of today, really dampened my mood to go out and enjoy my last of this weekend. Next week will be a really busy wk for me, schedule as follows:

Mon - Prep for Wed and Thurs roving (means conducting CD Fam)
Tues - BDO, damn duty on a holiday
Wed - Conducting CD Fam for a signal coy of 4SAB, so coincidentally the coordinating officer is Brandon, my OCS buddy. LOL
Thur - Advisor for STF (smoke trainer facility) in seletar camp
Fri - Have to attend a refresher course

One of one new NEW YR resolution is to try to remember people's bday, friends, relatives etc etc. Not easy but i will try =) Anyone can aid me in that also k~

Recently been spending way too much, like water flowing from the tap..... Buying stuffz as though they were free, and the words "SALE" & "DISCOUNT" turns me on. Heres what i got for myself today from WINS watch at Bencoolen near SLS: My new Seiko SNQ003. Choose this over 001 (the white one) cause of my skin color.... Manage to get a 35% discount cos buying 2, which proves to be too much a temptation for me.





Bought home 1 x chicken from Crystal Jade Express which is having a promotion now. Highly recommended for just $10!!! Go try it now =D

3rd Jan '06

First day of work in 2006, first thing stepping into office was seeing all the arrows flying all over, bulletproof vest also will be render useless then. Bo piang lar, me new guy in the block, naturally becomes the bull's eye target. Nothing much on work today, things to note are probably not essential at all, like watching Jian Gui 10 during lunch break, jogging with juna before going home, and cut my hair at AMK central. kinda like my hair now, haaha

Packing myself for 2006

11 days of leaves flew past me in an instant, never once slowing down for any allowance. Facing the fact, today marks the end of holiday, and the busy schedule starts tomorrow. I am feeling the added responsibilities of being an officer already even though most of the time after commissioning was basically "zuo bolaning". Maybe thats the reason for me to even considering signing on for the army, hmm dilemma....
Watched Taegukgi hwinalrimyeo (brotherhood) on DVD yest nite, must comment that its a great show! Outstanding performance by Dong-Kun Jang and Bin Won. It constantly reminded me of those days outfield, sufferings and joy together..... Wierd

Heard from the news in the noon that the 4 SAF commando personnels involved in the death of the trainee commando have been proven not guilty; that such practise is part of a norm training, safety aspects had been covered and no need to revamp anything. Safety aspects covered and still such incident can happen? SAF....

Went Changi to play soccer again wif Wenwei, token and JH, definitely seeing myself improving or rather gaining back my ball sense. Was watching Westham v Chelsea before typing this post.... Drogba goal was so clinical..... As a striker thats what he is expected to do in a snap.

We lost the match, but i definitely had fun =)

A bad morning to start with~

Woke up 11am+ to prep for the match; breakfast, toliet break, cut nails etc. Went off at 12pm to the busstop to wait for 133, only after a seemingly long 10mins (cos i was running late) did i realise i was at the wrong busstop, crapZ.... Was suppose to meet Yong Cheng 12.30pm at boon keng mrt. Din really know my destination, u see bendemeer area is not my cup of tea bah. Ended up taking a long waited cab after missing the targeted stop.... blah blah. Luckily the taxi driver knew where st wilfred field (not wilfrid hor yong cheng) is, and when i reached there did i realize i didnt have small change for the fare..... The kind hearted driver agreed to wait for me while i borrowed some bucks. Had to sit on the bench for the first half cos the match had started when i arrived.

Ying Quan's team was pretty organize i must say, not like us, but we do have outstanding players to negate that weakness. Problem with us was the lack of fitness, must have been slacking too much after commissioned sia~ need to buck up on fitness soon. Overall i had fun, so did others i hope.

Hmmm, supposed to go wuu's hse to countdown, end up in my hse with my family. Din really count down lar, no big deal actually. Just that i'm gonna be even older... haiz... Anyway its very late now, thought of writing a review of my life in 2005, but gonna need some time, maybe tml? And stay tune for my new yr resolution/s =P
