Two and a Half Inches Has Never Been So Satisfying

WHAT IS A TIM TAM?
Tim Tams are Australia’s favourite chocolate biscuit (chocolate coated Cookie with a creamy center).

HOW POPULAR ARE TIM TAMS IN AUSTRALIA?
Arnott's reports that "Around 30 million packs are sold each year - that’s nearly 300 million biscuits, or two packs for every Australian." That's a lot of Tim Tams! Yes, they're pretty popular with those Aussies!

WHAT DO TIM TAMS TASTE LIKE?
Tim Tams were developed so that the chocolate has a slight hint of caramel in it. Where as the cream in the center is more a vanilla, butter and chocolate flavor. Whatever the combination, it works well and tastes great.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... arrhhhhhhhhhhhh...... woOt woOt woot wOot WooT.....
(noice made subconsiously when eating Tim Tam) yeah baby, this chocolate biscuits are simply the best around! 3 favours sold here, original, dark and chocolate fudge. Ignore the dark, the other 2 are irresistable. It melts in your hand, and in your mouth. Its damn funny how we worship this stuff incamp. We would keep a pack to enjoy right after outfield. Its a morale booster and definitely something tat inspire us. Heres a step by step on how we eat them; 1. Open the wrapper 2. Each person takes 1 out and hold in hand (only 11 person per pack) 3. Say out a realistic wish 4. Close your eyes, bite it and orgaSM! 5. Still in a state of satisifaction, lick the remaining chocolate on your fingers.

1 advice, hold on tight, if not it will slip..... hehehee. Anyway this Tim Tam cost around $3.50, and trust me, its not easy to buy. Very little place sell them, and even if they do, most sell only dark chocolate, which imo is good but not great. Try it today.

Went for platoon fc last wk, yes fieldcamp again..... so sick of this shit. 4 days outfield, we got so use to them now, not able to bathe, sucky food, mosquitoes, ants, rain, sun, frogs etc. Nothing great happens, everything suxs. total of 11 hrs of sleep in 4 nights, sun to wed. A breakdown of the hours; 3 on sun due to preparation of maps, fieldpack etc, 2 on mon cos we got back to harbouring area at 3+, woke up 5+, 3 on tues and it rained, last day, 1 + 2. During the last day, we slpt 1 hr and got turned out. Y? cos we were suppose to keep 1/3 pple alert for sentry, but god damn it, everyone was so tired from the lack of slp and the tedious training. "Pushup position change, situp position change, pushup change, situp change, everything out from fieldpack, everything in, out, in, out, in" crapz.....

Last day was our exercise zebra. We had to attack and capture one objective with our instructor acting as PC. We were damn hyped on cos after that we would be going back. But no, Charlie Mike...... (C M = continue mission) Morale dropped, fatigue sprung out of no way......

Had a small party back at camp, 11 pple were squeezing into my room, talking cock and snacking and timtaming... shiok =)

Went out yest to zouk to watch soccer, ended up going to Hotel Grand Corpthrone (sp?) to watch. Hey its a nice place! Ordered a glass of Chi Chi, its pineapple juice + coconut juice + milk + volka and many others. Super duper nice sia!! kinda pricy but well worth it =)

alrighty, see ya guys next wk! Bookin in tonight..... huh? what holiday?

Shihlin

Shihlin Night Market is the most famous in Taipei due to its very wide range of local delicacies in its small streets and alleys. "If Taiwan has it, Shihlin has it", meaning any nice snack can be found there. Typing while snacking on the Shihlin XXL Chicken, which taste heavenly.... hmmmmmm
Watched Kingdom of Heaven slightly earlier after i booked out, imo not a really gd show cos i dozed off, i never dozed off watching any other movie, its either it sux big time or im too tired. Only the last battle was quite impressive.

Juz realize i haven written here since 2 wks back, cause of tight schedule and extremely short book out. Both wks were only 1 day, bookout in the sunday morning, and in in the sunday nite......

Last wk we did section movement and quick attack live firing. Quite cool at the start but got bored of it really soon. Tried on this new padding for SBO, which in the end got a really bad abrasions on my arms near the armpits, actually everywhere! Nearly died from it when we went back and had to do weapons cleaning and ganna tekan session.

Patrol fieldcamp this wk, we had to do planning for missions, where we would embarked to fight other platoon sections, which was really fun i tink, except for the last part where we again got tekan; running in FBO (fieldpack, sbo, rifle, side stores etc) and fast march the other half. Not sure the distance, shd be round 3km. SHAG sia! Yesterday before most pple booked out, in the morning 5bx, we got hell again. WE DID 5 x 200m upslope runs, slightly more then 100 pushups in one go (normal, spider, diamond wateva), situps and ended wif a 1.5km fast run. While other wings were juz doing the normal 5bx, which ended in about 10mins?!

Not all negative experience though, serving my confinement this wk, meaning pple booked out yest, me today morning. We helped do some saikang, er fatigue work until dinner, and all the time was ours. We prepared our items for tml platoon fieldcamp which will be 5d4n..... and had a great party after lights out! Everyone brought their food out, enjoying and chitchatting. Life shd be like that in army.... lol not a jk but it probably is.....

3 more wks and i be more relax and slack. Next wk a 5 day platoon fieldcamp, next next wk GPMG live firing and learning detonator and the 3rd wk, exercise SPADE! Heard from everyone that SPADE is the most siong exercise in OCS... lets wait for me to clear it and see....

Oh ya take care and rest well sher, who went for a surgery. Hang out again soon man! And brian, congratz sgt! POP lor! Hopefully u will go to some slack unit aight?! Take care too. Many pple i wanna contact, but this ocs is killing my social life.... wat the heck.
Hopefully booking out friday next wk, so stay tune =)

Relaxing Weekends.... more or less

Its my first long weekend since i entered OCS, all thanks to Labour Day, a holiday which i always taken it for granted. Sat, went Somerset to meetup wif Geoffery, my gd buddy in OCS. Had BK for lunch and after that went around looking for stuffz to buy. Ended up buying some Byford underwears for athletes. Went to Army market after that, nothing much and went home to meet my soccer kakis for some streetsoccer. Been really long since i played, and i must say i enjoyed every moment with it =) Despite the rain. Went for dinner at AMK central, when i started having stomach cramp, all the way back home. The pain was so great i couldn't even walk back home, in the end have to halt a cab, it cost me $2.50, when normally a 5 mins walk will do it.... =P
Anyway back at hm, i puked and got much better after awhile. Maybe i had indulge in too much food since i booked out.... argh

Today had lunch wif my family, been sometimes since we had one together... feel kinda gd to be together. Went to jack's place and i had a T-Bone steak which really rox! Wanted a Tiramisu but damn i was too full!

I will touch on a little about my last week field camp..... Its all filled with tears and laughter, though i admit the laughters are probably forced out.... hahaaaa

Day 1 - Went to tekong and started building our bashas. Wasted alot of time on it because they kept changing how to bashas must be built.... bitch. Any there were many other stuffz to do so not much manpower around. Anyway we had to anchor the edge to a stick, and i used my boots to step on it, its fast, but the end state?! I had a hole in my boots!! damn it!! How weak can the boots be!!? Withstand landmine?! Phew~!! Embarked on our exercise greenleaves or sleeves, wateva. After finding the daytime last checkpt, disaster struck. We tried bashing through to find our dining pt, cos all of us were damn enxious to rest. Ended up being lost in a thick forest, not able to find any exit.... Worst, our section mate, Shaun, sprained his ankle while crossing the drain, and we were much in despair. Even with our instructor and his GPS handheld helped, we couldn't find the way out, and had to comms back for help. After about 2-3hrs and the sky got really dark, our wing PCs came to our rescue, though we still had to bash through thick forest, with mud and dirty water, resulting in our boots and feet to be totally wet and mashy. Hell it was tiring... AND we still had night navi~! Found all checkpts and headed back to camp site, which was about 10km away from our last checkpt. We dragged our tired body, rifles and sbo and not forgetting our boots still filled with water. Can u imagine ur feet soaked in water for that long?! And every steps made that funny moshy mashy noise thats pretty annoying to me.... ARGHHH!! lol! Everyone was pretty dead back at camp

Day 5 - Embarked on exercise Wildboar, which more or less was doing fire movement, flanking and charging while travelling on a 2+ or 6+ km route. Can be a killer too if u had that signal set on ur while being contacted.... When we got back, one of our section mate, daniel discovered that his magazine was missing, so we had to head back all the way to find it. Gladly it was found, on our way back, we kanna tekan like siao.... Artillery drill from about 1km around from rest pt, run, prone, run, prone the whole distance. Got back, we were made to do leopard crawl around the rest pt...... really what i can say was that back then, all my energy, includin the next day ones, had been drained..... Worst we had no water left..... luckily other sections still had a little. Thats wat i call surviving as a platoon!

On saturday, we went for our M2O3 and matador firing! It was damn COOL!!! Its like playing halflife, where u use rocket launcher, here matador. Damn powerful!

Thats all folk! Next wk, at the worst, probably i wouldn't get to book out. If not, the most optimistic one is sat night.... till then......
